4th Annual Show and Shine Follow Up(For immediate release) Thank you all for attending the event this year. I can remember the first time I organized the event and the turnout was close to 20 cars and 30 people. It is incredible to think that we have consistently increased the attendees and cars year after year. This year we had 35 cars and a little over 60 people! A big part of this boost is word of mouth and I have you all to thank for that. This year we also had some inter-chapter participation from the Patroon Chapter out of New York. It was good to see their support and I hope to make the trip out to one of their events. I look forward to hosting them again next year. Based on some feedback I received, I may make changes to the event, going forward. It was suggested to have a separate category for convertibles, rather than have them grouped with the 2-Door Coupe. I am also entertaining the idea to include more prizes to be raffled off. Suggested items were gas cards and/or BMW apparel. Look out for these potential changes next year. This year’s event was dedicated to Marshall Wilson. Thanks to your donations, we raised $250.00, which is all going to the ALS Foundation, CT Chapter. I would like to thank Andrea Wilson and her family for coming to the event and making their presence known. Andrea’s words were heart felt and certainly touched us all. Marsh was with us in spirit, and I am glad we all had the chance to celebrate his memory. Congratulations to this year’s winners!
