    Welcome to CVC!

     

    The Connecticut Valley Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America serves more than 2,200 members in Connecticut and western Massachusetts, as well as CCA members from all over the northeast who have joined our chapter.

    One of our M3s at Lime Rock.We provide our members and guests with BMW-related activities ranging from driving schools and tours to rallies, picnics, dinner parties, tech sessions, and a host of special events.

    Our website contains information on these events and other topics of interest to the BMW-loving community. Our business meetings are held monthly and are open to all members (call ahead to let us know you’re coming).

    Chapter members receive our bi-monthly publication, Die Zeitung, with timely articles about coming events and other information of interest to members.

    Some Things Never Change

    Free Membership Drawing – You Should Have Been There!

    In an unabashed effort to boost attendance at our events, we will be holding a drawing at all major functions (picnics, dinner meetings, etc.). The purpose of this drawing is to award five free one-year membership renewals in BMWCCA. All current chapter members are automatically entered in this drawing. The only catch is that you must be present to win. Proof of attendance is your signing the guest book – so be sure to sign in! There were five members who would have won free memberships had they been present at the...

    Monthly Business Meetings. All CVC members are invited to participate in Chapter operations. The monthly business meetings are open to all members. They are held one Friday each month and start at 7:00 p.m. The location changes – depending on which Board member is the host that month. Please check this site for the location and contact the listed host to let them know you will be attending (and to get directions).



    Free Dinner Points Awards: You can earn points towards a free chapter dinner. You only need to submit an article, photo, or Letter to the Editor to be printed in the newsletter to earn the points. Once you have accumulated 100 points you can use them to pay for your meal at a chapter event.

    The following point system is in effect for submissions for publication in the DZ.

    SUBMISSION POINTS
    Articles over 500 words: 25 points - Articles under 500 words: 15 points - Original Tech Tips: 15 points
    Regular Columns (Pres/Editor, etc.): 15 points - Original photos: 10 points - Letter to the Editor: 10 points
    Post-Event Follow-up Articles: 10 points - Reprints of Photos/Articles from other sources: 5 points

    RULES
    Accumulate 100 points and you can use them for one free dinner at a Chapter-sponsored dinner meeting.
    Editors have final authority on what is published... only appropriate articles will be printed.
    Points will be discarded after three years, if not used within that time.
