1971 BMW 2800CS, 140,325 miles, Light Blue exterior (a Porsche color), Black Leather interior. Less than 7000 miles on factory rebuilt 528i engine direct from Germany, all new brakes, new partial exhaust system.

Quicker than other coupes due to 2 Weber downdraft carbs with a jam kit and Bilstein street shocks with Suspension Techniques springs. There's a Nardi Leather steering wheel and 3 custom gauges. The clock and odometer don’t work, it happened less than 1000 miles ago. Service records available.

The body is in good to very good condition, very solid, with only a very few tiny areas showing any slight signs of rust bubbles, the fenders and wheel wells are very solid, as are the shock towers. The interior has excellent back seats, the front seats have cracks and tears on driver’s cushion and bolster and passenger’s cushion; the carpeting is non-original and in fair condition; the dash and rear parcel shelf are excellent with no cracks.

This car has been to most every CVC event (and board meeting!) since 1983 when it was acquired by the man who's owned it since, an 'extreme' BMW Car Club enthusiast and it has been maintained by a local BMW specialist.
